Cyanotype, Pinhole & Liquid Emulsion on Linen
I See You searches for presence in the absence of a person.
The artist pieces together cyanotypes of her late Grandfather's possessions and pinhole images of his home (on liquid emulsion). Through experimental photography techniques, all the images are produced through direct contact of objects and spaces, as she seeks to re-create his presence. The final work is perhaps the most accurate portrayal of him than photographs ever could capture.
